New year, new start

If your child is a pupil at a Lancashire primary school and you know they’ve been struggling with the work since they went up a year group in September, now is the time to book some extra support. A Gold Star Tutor will be a fully qualified primary school teacher and will have had relevant classroom experience. We are fortunate enough to have a retired headteacher on the books now who can cover the Southport and Formby area. Your child will have the uninterrupted attention of a teacher for an hour per week in order to address any problems they are having with either literacy or numeracy or to prepare them for the Y2 or Y6 SATs tests. Your child will be in the comfort of their own home and won’t be working in a small group at a tuition centre with other children who may be struggling, which can be off~putting.
